Writing & Research

Yes, people pay me to write and research.  Sometimes handsomely.  I’ve done magazine, newspaper, and institutional professional writing and I’ve researched for hire and on pro-bono projects (the latter being for historical preservation, something historians are willing to do out of the goodness of their hearts on occassion).  Serious inquires are always welcome at orgill.kelly@gmail.com – to quote Jack T. Colton, “I ain’t cheap, but I can be had.”

I can research, and write compentently about, any topic.  My field of historical expertise is Idaho settlement history, wilderness conservation politics in the Pacific Northwest, and the impact of religion and reclamation in the American West.
